Ideas to spark CTC conversations

Created:

Prepared as part of the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) for a group of Washington’s community and technical colleges (CTCs), this brief synthesizes stakeholder input collected in King County during Summer 2025. It presents actionable ideas to strengthen the quality, equity, and responsiveness of CTE programs across CTCs. Each idea includes a descriptive title, the applicable CLNA Elements (in parentheses), a set of recommended actions, and a guiding question to support deeper exploration and engagement by CTCs. These abridged summaries are intended to spark discussion within and among CTCs, K–12 partners, and community and industry stakeholders. A more detailed companion report has been prepared for the clients who commissioned this assessment.
